I work with everyone from ages 5 to 90—from kids’ birthday parties to festivals, private events, and pop-ups. But I have a special place in my heart for women 55+, because I’ve seen firsthand how something as small as a few strands of shimmer can completely transform how someone feels—bringing joy, confidence, and attention in the best way.

Hi, I’m Ashley Garcia—Hair Bling artist, sparkle enthusiast, and firm believer that a little light can go a long way.
I’ve been working with hair tinsel for over 15 years, after first learning the technique back in college. What started as something fun—adding sparkle to my friends’ hair in a small town in Durango, Colorado—quickly grew into something much bigger. In a place where everyone noticed everything, people started asking where they could get it… and just like that, this work found me.
At the time, I was studying biology, working toward a completely different path. But life has a way of surprising you. What began as something playful and creative slowly turned into a full-time business built on connection, joy, and helping people feel seen.
In the early days, I carried a small pouch of tinsel with me everywhere. If someone stopped me and asked about my hair, I’d offer to add a few strands right then and there. That spirit has never left me. While my business has grown into events, parties, and bookings across different states, at its core, it’s still about those same spontaneous moments of connection.
I’m a Colorado native and deeply rooted in community, creativity, and care. I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I truly believe this work is about more than hair—it’s about confidence, expression, and letting yourself shine in a way that feels authentic.
This isn’t just what I do—it’s what I’ve grown into. And I’m here for anyone who’s ready to add a little sparkle to their life.
